On a good day

How do you measure your daily performance?

For the past five years, I’ve been using nine little boxes. It’s a simple 3x3 grid. And at a glance, I can see how my day went.

In fact, for the past 1,825 days I’ve had a visual account of my daily performance.

The highs and lows. A record of what’s gone right and wrong. The when. The why. The where. But more importantly—the how.

So what does a ‘good day’ look like?

Simple. Six little boxes—coloured in ink.
