S2E8 / Transform lives with David Reid

David is CEO at Birtenshaw Group  — a business that’s transforming the lives of children with special needs and disabilities.

Since joining Birtenshaw, David’s turned a loss making local charity into a world class service provider. He’s not only transforming the lives of children and young adults, but also their families, his colleagues and the community. He’s done this by following a commitment he made early in his childhood.

It was through a series of traumatic events that led David to make it his mission to help other children.

Today, David wants to expand the Birtenshaw Group and make a bigger impact — providing specialist care and education to those who need it most.

This interview gives a real insight into human behaviour and how to build a profitable business.

We talk about spectrums, skill sets and teaching sign language to special friends.

In this extended episode, we sit down with David and explore how you can be more being visionary when you’re determined to transform lives.
